Kurt Hunt did the architectural work on our addition.  After providing Kurt our initial ideas and wishes, he designed a beautiful plan which blended into the the original house in a seamless fashion.  He was patient, understanding and listened, while adding many well thought out suggestions based on his experience.  Kurt handled many aspects of our project including meeting with our contractor, obtaining all the permits and even arrangements with the structural engineer and geologists.  Kurt was very professional and a joy to work with.

This three suite vacation home on Orcas Island, Washington is designed to entertain family and friends from around the world. Influenced by Rosario Resort’s island history and its twin cottages, Solara was planned with a traditional exterior to fit into the community while providing a modern, open and flowing plan with private away spaces.
